Blackburn players named to sportsmanship team

Blackburn College basketball players Diarra Cropper, a freshman from Edwardsville, and Kylie Sparks, a senior from Lincoln, were named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Sportsmanship Team for the 2012-2013 season.

Sparks, a guard who averaged 3.1 points per game, made the team for the first time.  “Kylie struggled through an injury all season and battled through it so it was great to see her recognized by the conference,” said Blackburn women’s coach Jen Windmiller.

Cropper, a 6-4 forward, averaged 4.9 points per game and played in every Blackburn contest this season.
