Youth build penguins at workshop

CARLINVILLE (Jan. 11, 2018) – Macoupin County 4-H held two “Build a Penguin” workshops for youth on Wednesday, Jan. 3.

Participants learned facts about penguins and created their own penguin to take home. Those in the second class, for ages 8-11, made extra penguins to share with local nursing home residents to bring joy during the cold winter months. 4-H Federation members helped plan and lead the workshop for younger 4-H members.
