We send our thanks to everyone
In this day of hurry and rush and immediate gratification, it is especially heartwarming to see the personal connections made during the Children’s Christmas Spree.
We send our thanks to everyone who made this year’s event such a success, including the Enquirer- Democrat. One hundred forty children were accompanied by 140 adults. That one to one matching makes the experience very special for everyone. To see the groups of shoppers in the stores who support the event, we say thanks. Special flyers for Spree shoppers were made by First to the Finish, My Sister’s Closet, and Crowe Boot and Shoe. Restaurants offered treats to Spree shoppers. The outpouring of love is accompanied by the generosity of those who donate, making all of this possible. To meet our goal of 140 children, over $20,000 is required to fund the event. Thanks to businesses, churches, civic groups and individuals, from far and near, who support this special Christmas event. Due to some late donations, the Spree will offer assistance through the school nurses to those who could not participate in the Spree.
Thank you and merry Christmas.
