 November 4, 2014 –  A proposition to raise the maximum rate of expenditures for road purposes in Nilwood has failed by a vote of 117 no (54.42 percent) to 98 yes (45.58 percent).

If it had passed, the measure would have increased the present maximum rate of .5604 of value, as equalized or assessed by the state’s Department of Revenue, up to .9400, an increase of more than 67 percent.
