Andrea Moore of Medora has been selected to represent the married women of Illinois in the Mrs. United States Pageant, to be held July 3-8 in Orlando, Fla. The pageant honors women for their ability to integrate beauty and intelligence into their busy lifestyles.
Moore, a teacher at Southwestern School District, also teaches a technology class that promotes internet safety for children. Her husband, Jeff, is an Illinois State Police trooper. Together, they have four children and run a home business.
“My husband is my biggest supporter and without him, this pageant and the process of getting to where I am today would be impossible without him by my side,” said Moore. “I have always had an interest in pageants growing up, but it just never seemed like the right time for me. Now, with the strong support of my husband and family, I hope to bring a win home for the state and be your new Mrs. United States!”
Prior to the national pageant, Moore will make appearances at events throughout the state. For more information, contact Moore at firstname.lastname@example.org.
