Manar tours Pleasant Hill Village
GIRARD (Nov. 30, 2017) – State Sen. Andy Manar visited with residents and staff Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Pleasant Hill Village in Girard. During his visit, he discussed the state’s bill backlog, budget, the state budget, education funding reform and the teacher shortage plaguing central Illinois communities.
“Thank you to Senator Manar for joining us to discuss the issues Pleasant Hill Village is facing,” said Paulette Buch-Miller, executive director of the facility. “We found his visit both helpful and informative, and we look forward to him joining us again soon.”
“These conversations give me an opportunity to meet with constituents and learn more about how I can better serve our communities,” Manar said. “Thank you to Pleasant Hill Village for graciously hosting my visit.”
