Kenneth “Kenny” W. Moreland
Kenneth “Kenny” W. Moreland, 50, of Staunton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at 12:05 a.m., at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born Feb. 19, 1962, to Lloyd and Joyce Haas Moreland Jr.
Preceding him in death were his mother; one brother, Eric Moreland; a sister-in-law, Tina Moreland; a nephew, David Moreland; his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Pansy Moreland and his maternal grandfather, Louis Haas Sr.
Kenny worked as a bartender at various locations in the area. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, singing karaoke and dancing. He enjoyed playing pool, cards, dice and throwing darts.
Surviving are a daughter, Kendra Rae Lampros, of Mascoutah; three grandchildren, Madison, Korbin and Paul Jr.; his father, Lloyd Moreland Jr., of Staunton; one sister, Debra (Bud) Hearn, of Gillespie; one grandmother, Thelma Haas, of Smithton; three nephews, Christopher Moreland, Keith Moreland and Tanner Hearn; a cousin, Jeff Scott, of Staunton; and several other cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, from 4-8 p.m., at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at 11 a.m., also at Williamson Funeral Home with minister, Debra Hearn officiating.
Burial will be at Spangle Cemetery near Livingston.
