Aug. 25-30

Sunday, Aug. 25

Kyler M. Jacobs, 20, of Gillespie was issued citations for failure to use a turn signal and disobeying two stop signs.

Monday, Aug. 26

An officer met with a male at the police department to take a report of a verbal altercation at the lake over the weekend.

Dylan C. Frensko, 20, of Gillespie was cited for reckless driving and disobeying a stop sign.

Tuesday, Aug. 27

An officer was dispatched to the intersection of Francis and Plum streets to take a report of a traffic crash. Jordan R. Anders, 22, of Onalaska, Wisc. was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

The school resource officer was called to the nurse’s office to take a report of child abuse. The case was turned over to the Department of Children and Family Services for further investigation.

An officer was dispatched to the Maple Street Clinic to assist with a female that was causing a disturbance. Kira K. Durey, 37, of Gillespie was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting obstructing a peace officer. She was taken to the Macoupin County jail.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Lynn Street for a verbal dispute.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of East Maple Street to take a report of a theft.

Clarence H. Stewart, 36, of Urbana was issued a citation for speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Wednesday, Aug. 28

An officer was dispatched to Route 4 and Divison Street to take a report of a theft from her residence in Mt. Clare.

Jessica R. Carney, 38, of Gillespie was issued a citation for operating a vehicle with expired registration.

Teddy M. Cooper, 32, of Gillespie was issued a citation for an equipment violation.

Thursday, Aug. 29

Georgia S. Reedy, 37, of Benld was issued a citation for passing a school bus while loading or unloading.

An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of Abba Street to take a report of a stolen motorcycle. The motorcycle was later recovered by an officer.

An officer was dispatched to take a report of a theft in the 400 block of West Walnut Street.

The school resource officer took a report of a juvenile making comments of self harm. The juvenile was referred to Locust Street Resource Center in Carlinville for further evaluation.

Friday, Aug. 30

The school resource officer took a report of a juvenile having thoughts of self harm. The juvenile was referred to Locust Street Resource Center for further evaluation.

Sharen D. Conlee, 61, of Mt. Clare was arrested on a warrant out of Macoupin County for failure to appear on an intoxicated pedestrian charge. She was taken to the Macoupin County jail.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
