Gillespie man charged with aggravated battery to a

Nathan J. Alderson, 28, Gillespie, has been charged with four counts of aggravated battery to a child in connection to an incident between September 8, 2017 and November 19, 2017 in which he allegedly squeezed an individual under the age of 13 years by the chest.

The individual suffered a rib fracture on the right posterior side of their ribs, a subdural hematoma around part of the individual’s brain, a humeral fracture to the left arm and a tibia metaphyseal fracture to the right leg.

A warrant was issued on Friday, July 5 and Alderson was arrested by officer Jamie Robinson on the same day. Bail has been set at $250,000. At the time of publication, Alderson has no defending attorney representing him. Judge Joshua Meyer will be presiding over the case. Alderson’s court date has been set for Friday, August 16 at 9 a.m.
