Gibbel’s Home Services is an appliance retail store that will be opening in Carlinville during the coming weeks. It’s grand-opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on July 29. In celebration of their grand opening they will be giving away several gift $250 gift cards.
Gibbel’s Home Services doesn’t just specialize in appliances though, they also offer heat, air and electrical services. The staff is knowledgeable, fair, and has plenty of experience. As the store’s owner Kyle Gibbel says, “One of the big difference between us and another company is (at Gibbel’s) you can get three different services at 1 location. Our technicians all have over or around 20 years experience in their area of service. We wired our first house in 1995, we started in the heating, venting, and air-conditioning trade in 1994 and our appliance guy has been servicing appliances since 1998.”
“I’m kind of new to retail,” says Gibbel, “but I’ve always done the heat air and electric in town. It was done out of a shed on the north end of town.” Gibbel now has a real location and warehouse to work out of.
“We’ve got Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid, and more appliances brands and parts,” added Gibbel, “And we’ve been really busy already. I never dreamed we would be this busy. We’ve gotten at least 40 new customers who have been interested in our appliances.”
“We try to have the best products available and we try our hardest to have same day service,” said Gibbel, “Some of the big-box stores are more interested in selling models than on working on them or fixing them if you have trouble. That is not the case here. You can call us any time. We are a service driven company. We like to take care of our customers because it keeps them coming back.”
