David L. Enrietta
David L. Enrietta, 68, of Virden passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born Aug. 29, 1950, in Springfield, a son of Frank and Isabell (Ovington) Enrietta. He married Mary Kay Blankenship on Sept. 12, 1980, in Virden; she survives.
Mr. Enrietta graduated from Virden High School in 1968 and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a warehouseman for Altorfer in Springfield for more than 35 years.
In addition to his wife, surviving are a daughter, Mary Jane Enrietta of Virden; sons, Tony (Jen) Enrietta of Carlinville, Justin Enrietta of Virden and Nick Enrietta of Girard; six grandchildren, Maggie (Bryan) Huff, David Enrietta, Cash Enrietta, Jacqueline Enrietta, Presley Enrietta and Lennon Enrietta; three great-grandchildren, Isabella Huff, Bentley Huff and Dylan Huff; a sister, Marilyn Croft of Springfield; a brother, Larry Enrietta of Chatham; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 1, at Calvert and Ferry Funeral Home in Virden. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at the funeral home, with Rev. John Huxtable officiating. Burial will be in Virden Cemetery.
