Culps – 65th anniversary

Glen and Willetta “Willie” (Lott) Culp will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 8. They were married in 1952 at the Memorial Christian Church in Carlinville.
Their first years of marriage were spent in California while Mr. Culp served in the U.S. Air Force. Upon his discharge, they worked and lived on a farm in Carlinville. In 1965, they moved to Parma, Mich., and managed Stuckey’s Pecan Shoppe until 1982. They were managers of the Albion Beer Well/Kelly Fuels in Albion, Mich., and retired in 1999. They have been active community residents in Albion, Mich., since 1982.
They have two children, Glenda Culp of Albion, Mich., and Ben (Amy) Culp of St. Kitts, West Indies; and a grandson, Kyle Culp of Lawton, Mich.
The couple will enjoy a quiet anniversary celebration at home.
