Felonies

Darian A. Day, now 24, Kane, has been charged with non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images in connection with an Aug. 14 incident in which he allegedly intentionally disseminated a private sexual image of an individual over the age of 18 who is identifiable from the information displayed in connection with the image, showing an exposed intimate part of the individual.

Joseph A. Reece, 64, Shipman, has been charged with unlawful violation of an order of protection in connection with a Nov. 13 incident in which he allegedly called a protected person, leaving a voicemail message.

Barry D. Ingersoll, 49, New Douglas, has been charged with driving while license revoked in connection with an Oct. 8 incident in which he allegedly drove a 1991 Ford on Route 4, Benld. He was also charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Kiara M. Harris, 24, Chicago, has been charged with aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer in connection with a Nov. 16 incident in which she allegedly kicked an officer in the left thigh and refused to unlock (open) a bedroom door.

Michael D. Barber, 18, Sawyerville, has been charged with aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude and aggravated unlawful use of weapons in connection with a Nov. 18 incident in which he allegedly drove a tan Toyota Camry and, having been given a visual or audible signal by a peace officer directing him to bring his vehicle to a stop, unlawfully failed or refused to obey the direction and was involved in the disobedience of two or more official traffic control devices; and knowingly carried in his vehicle an uncased and loaded Remington 870 pump 20-gauge shotgun that was immediately accessible to him. He was also charged with reckless driving and having no valid driver’s license.

Alex L. Wood, 26, Auburn, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a Nov. 22 incident in which she allegedly took a Nicorette pack, clothing, cosmetics and soda valued in excess of $300 from Carlinville Walmart.

Jason A. Strahan, 40, Benld has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and resisting a peace officer in connection with a Nov. 26 incident in which he allegedly knowingly possessed a rifle and refused to allow an officer to place handcuffs upon him by laying upon his wrists after being ordered to place them behind his back.

Quinton S. Howard, 34, Davenport, Iowa, has been charged with aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude in connection with a Nov. 25 incident in which he allegedly drove a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder and, having been given a visual or audible signal by a peace officer directing him to bring his vehicle to a stop, wilfully failed or refused to obey the direction, driving at a rate of speed at least 21 mph over the legal speed limit.

Misdemeanors

Anel Berisa, 21, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful use of fireworks in connection with a Nov. 23 incident in which he allegedly knowingly used a consumer firework.

Justin B. Hoyt, 41, Girard, has been charged with harassment through electronic communications in connection with a Nov. 9 incident in which he allegedly sent vulgar and insulting text messages to an individual with the intent to offend.

Corey M. Lindley, 36, Alton, has been charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with a Nov. 27 incident in which he allegedly refused to allow an officer to place handcuffs on him by physically resisting the officer’s efforts to control Lindley’s wrists.

Cassandra L. Lofland, 36, Girard, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Nov. 28 incident in which she allegedly struck an individual in the face with her fist.

Jamie E. Gunning, 37, Carlinville, has been charged with reckless conduct in connection with a Nov. 29 incident in which she allegedly endangered the bodily safety of an individual by discharging a rifle in her residence.

Joshua M. Howland, 36, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Nov. 28 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face with his hand.

Stephen J. Fields, 34, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Nov. 29 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face with his fist.

Jason A. Keffer Jr., 22, Gillespie, has been charged with two counts of domestic battery in connection wit ha Nov. 30 incident in which he allegedly grabbed an individual by the throat and squeezed and threw a lighter at the individual, striking the individual in the head.

DUIs

Brandon B. Owens, 33, Dolton, has been charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed and driving on a suspended license in connection with a Nov. 26 incident in which he allegedly drove a black 2016 Ford on Interstate 55 southbound at milepost 44.5.

Ashley N. Leonard, 32, St. Charles, Mo., has been charged with driving under the influence; illegal consumption of alcohol; improper lane usage; leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage; failure to report an accident to police authority; defective windshield, side or rear window (cracked); and lighted lamps required in connection with a Nov. 24 incident in which she allegedly drove a silver 2017 Honda on Pine Street at Shelby Street in Gillespie.
