Felonies

Velma S. Morgan, 37, Gillespie, has been charged with escape in connection with an Oct. 16 incident in which she allegedly failed to return report to Macoupin County Jail.

Cheyenne L. Treat, 21, Kincaid, has been charged with unlawful possession of contraband in a penal institution and possession of firearm ammunition without requisite firearm owner’s identification card in connection with an Oct. 17 incident in which she allegedly possessed meth in Macoupin County Jail and possessed a Taurus .38 Special.

Dalton R. Shaw, 20, Hannibal, Mo., has been charged with theft in connection with an Oct. 17 incident in which he allegedly obtained control over a bag of cans belonging to We Care Recycling Center valued at less than $300, knowing it to have been stolen.

Cyle R. Traster, 31, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing cocaine) in connection with a June 30 incident.

Misdemeanors

Katie N. Workman, 20, Wilsonville, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a July 28 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $81.28 to Randy’s Market, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Darla J. Marley (a.k.a. McDonald), 57, Taylor Springs, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a May 9 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $42.51 to Randy’s Market, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Suzy Novak, 51, Gillespie, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a July 22 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $8108.71 to Randy’s Market, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Kelli L. Hamann, now 37, Gillespie, has been charged with three counts of deceptive practices in connection with March 5, March 18 and July 21 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $33.10, $13.40 and $32.73, respectively, to Randy’s Market, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

Alexis C. Beavers, 22, Palmyra, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with an Oct. 4 incident in which she allegedly entered onto a protected location.

Brittany N. Pollard, now 32, Litchfield, has been charged with theft in connection with a June 4 incident in which she allegedly exerted unauthorized control over an individual’s power pack, hummingbird feeder, rechargeable spotlight and Christmas candy.

Jeffrey A. Cox, 38, Gillespie, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an Oct. 6 incident in which he allegedly grabbed an individual by the neck and pushed the individual against a mirror.

Jacob M. Reiniesch, 19, Gillespie, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with a n Oct. 7 incident in which he allegedly consumed nine 12-ounce cans of Bud Light beer.

Sade M. Maurice, 21, East St. Louis, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with a Sept. 15 incident in which she allegedly entered upon an individual’s property in the 500 block of West Chestnut Street, Gillespie, after previously being informed by Mt. Olive Police Department that she was not allowed to enter onto said property.

Jonathan M. Zubal, 37, Mt. Olive, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an Oct. 10 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the leg with a belt.

Shawn D. Bolino, 32, Girard, has been charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with an Oct. 9 incident in which he allegedly kicked his legs out at an officer in an attempt to keep the officer from placing handcuffs on him.

Harold R. Martin, 35, Girard, has been charged with criminal trespass to property in connection with an Oct. 10 incident in which he allegedly caused less than $500 damage to two decorative planters owned by It’s Your Party banquet hall in Girard by throwing them down into the street.

Ricky L. Flynn, 43, Carlinville, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with an Oct. 10 incident in which he allegedly entered onto property of Amtrak at the intersection of Shipman Blacktop and West Main, Carlinville, after previously being notified by Carlinville Police Department that he was not allowed to enter onto said property.

William E. Girardier, 30, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an Oct. 11 incident in which he allegedly grabbed an individual by the neck and squeezed.

Terry J. Sloan, 29, Virden, has been charged with criminal damage to property in connection with an Oct. 11 incident in which he allegedly caused less than $500 damage to an individual’s door.

Aaron J. Bennett, 19, Gillespie, has been charged with assault in connection with an Oct. 16 incident in which he allegedly threatened to physically attack an individual while yelling at the individual when in extremely close proximity.

Ricky L. Flynn, 43, Carlinville, has been charged with escape in connection with an Oct. 15 incident in which he allegedly failed to report to Macoupin County Jail.

Crystal L. Sebastian, 27, Alton, has been charged with two counts of violation of an order of protection in connection with  incidents in which she allegedly harassed a protected party by issuing a threat of force against the individual via Facebook Messenger to a third party on Sept. 23 and sent a message to the protected party via Facebook Messenger on Sept. 28.

Janet S. Cartwright, 43, Eagarville, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with an Aug. 27 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $62 to Animal Doctors LLP, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Amanda D. Ingrham, 43, Staunton, has been charged with five counts of deceptive practices in connection with Sept. 8-11 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $169.61, $28.45, $33.40, $31.78 and $146.67 to Randy’s Market, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

Lacey N. Mackelden, 26, Elsah, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a July 22 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $114.29 to Sullivan Drugs, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

DUI

Christopher J. Ballard, 31, Plainview, has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs in connection with an Oct. 1 incident in which he allegedly drove a blue 1991 Ford truck on Route 159 at Rollo Lane, south of Royal Lakes.

Dale R. Collins, 64, Carlinville, has been charged with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed in connection with an Oct. 7 incident in which he allegedly drove a tan/white 2012 Volkswagen on Route 4 at the Macoupin Creek Bridge north of Mitchell Lane, Carlinville.

Lisa A. Walls, 44, Mt. Olive, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in connection with an Oct. 7 incident in which she allegedly drove a blue 1997 Chevrolet in the 900 block of West Main in Mt. Olive.

Chandra P. Siar, 40, Gillespie, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of no registration lights in connection with an Oct. 2 incident in which she allegedly drove a blue 2013 Chevrolet Cruze on Second Street at Cedar Street, Gillespie.

Melissa A. Myers, 33, Carlinville, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a stop sign in connection with an Oct. 10 incident in which she allegedly drove a red 2003 Ford on North Plum Street at West First North Street, Carlinville.

Samantha J. Vail, 21, Cottage Hills, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence in connection with an Oct. 14 incident in which she allegedly drove a blue 2003 Pontiac at Short Stop in Bunker Hill.
