Lawsuits

Macoupin County Housing Authority filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer June 14 against Mara Hinds, seeking possession of property in Girard; rent, late fees and/or other monies due and owing; reasonable attorney’s fees; and court costs.

Daisy and Kenneth Sanders filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer June 20 against Kim Roth and unknown owners/occupants, seeking possession of property in Girard.

Central Illinois Realty Company filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer June 20 against Hope Hampton and Steve Harbin, seeking possession of property in Virden and $1,767.50 for rent ($1,236.50), attorney’s fees, costs and service.

Central Illinois Realty Company filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer June 20 against Nicole Gonzales, seeking possession of property in Virden and $2,456 for rent ($1,925), attorney’s fees, costs and service.

Heritage Manor — Staunton, LLC, d.b.a. Heritage Health, filed a complaint against Barbara A. Ziegler, seeking $23,025.49 unpaid for nursing home services, plus attorney’s fees, interest and costs of suit.

Rob Hohimer filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer June 23 against Amy Bolletto, seeking possession of property in Palmyra and $1,000 rent.

Felonies

Christan R. Davis, 25, of Memphis, Tenn., has been charged with obstructing justice in connection with an April 20 incident in which she allegedly furnished false information that she was Creshondra L. Davis.

Jacob N. Thomas, now 30, Gillespie, has been charged with driving while license revoked in connection with a Feb. 19 incident in which he allegedly drove a 2006 Dodge van on Route 66 in Staunton.

Misdemeanors

Thomas C. Higgins, 53, Carlinville, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with an April 15 incident in which he allegedly delivered a check for $70.81 to Carl’s IGA, knowing his bank would not honor the draft.

Shyan D. Grant, 27, Bunker Hill, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a March 12 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $161.81 to Madison Communications, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Angela K. Meyers, now 43, Carlinville, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a March 19 incident in which she allegedly took an Xbox controller valued at less than $300 from Carlinville Walmart.

Donald “Bo” Webb, 38, Gillespie, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with an April 4 incident in which he allegedly terminated utility service at a residence.

Yancy D. Costello, now 46, Palmyra, has been charged with theft in connection with a Feb. 27 incident in which he allegedly took an individual’s guitars and amplifiers with a total value of less than $500.

Steven D. Clattenburg, now 37, Girard, has been charged with unlawful possession of cannabis (more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams) in connection with a Jan. 25 incident.

Edward K. Stuckey, 30, St. Louis, Mo., has been charged with unlawful possession of cannabis (more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams) in connection with a Feb. 27 incident.

Benjamin A. Raymond, 35, Nilwood, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a March 17 incident in which he allegedly took a Samsung cellular telephone valued at less than $300 from AT&T in Carlinville.

James T.A. Lindsey, 41, Carlinville, has been charged with battery and resisting a peace officer in connection with a June 14 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face with his fist and fled from an officer after being told he was being placed under arrest.

Eric M. Streeb, 28, Staunton, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with a June 18 incident in which he allegedly remained on an individual’s property in the 600 block of North Deneen Street, Staunton, after being notified to depart.

Matthew E. Elkins, 33, Staunton, has been charged with disorderly conduct in connection with a June 16 incident in which he allegedly yelled at an individual and threatened to get his gun.

Sandra D. Hrnyak, 39, Carlinville, has been charged with disorderly conduct in connection with a June 16 incident in which she allegedly repeatedly yelled profanities at an individual and the individual’s children.

Christine L. Schaaff, 47, Mt. Olive, has been charged with assault in connection with a June 17 incident in which she allegedly made a verbal threat to an individual.

James R. Varble, 47, Hettick, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a May 23 incident in which he allegedly took socks and underwear valued at less than $300 from Dollar General in Carlinville.

Breanna A.K. Schaaff, 22, Mt. Olive, has been charged with assault in connection with a June 17 incident in which she allegedly threw a beer can at an individual.

Amanda S. Warren, 32, Gillespie, has been charged with obstructing a peace officer in connection with a June 16 incident in which she allegedly hid in a closet and would not come out when ordered to do so.

Darrell Pocklington, 27, Palmyra, has been charged with three counts of deceptive practices in connection with Nov. 28, Dec. 7 and Dec. 15, 2016, incidents in which he allegedly delivered checks for $20 each to Waytown Tavern, knowing his bank would not honor the drafts.

Kevin J. Black, 31, Litchfield, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a Feb. 13 incident in which he allegedly delivered a check for $60 to Animal Doctors LLP, knowing his bank would not honor the draft.

Reginald T. Rantanen, 46, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a June 22 incident in which he allegedly punched an individual in the face with a closed fist.

DUI

Johnny L. Blankley, 32, Benld, has been charged with driving under the influence in connection with a June 10 incident in which he allegedly drove a red 1999 Dodge truck on Route 4 at Central Avenue, Benld.
