Lawsuits

John Watters filed a breach of contract complaint Jan. 2 against Kenny Noble in connection with a July 23, 2009, property disclosure that indicated there were no material defects in the septic, sewer or other disposal systems of property in the 26100 block of Sage Road, Hettick. The suit alleges the sanitary disposal system is defective and not code-compliant and must be replaced; Watters seeks damages not in excess of $50,000, plus court costs and attorney fees.

Macoupin County Housing Authority filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Jan. 4 against Debra Richardson, seeking possession of property in Benld; rent, late charges and/or other monies due and owing; reasonable attorney’s fees; and court costs.

Douglas A. Daugherty filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Jan. 5 against Shawn (Larry) Secrist and any unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Girard and $700 rent.

William E. Stilwell filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Jan. 8 against Ashley N. Vollintine, seeking possession of property in Carlinville and $1,300 rent.

Hickory Point Bank and Trust filed a complaint in replevin Jan. 8 against Aidan A. Heisman, seeking an ATV purchased on an unpaid retail installment contract, as well as damages in the unpaid amount of $6,393.11, plus reasonable attorney’s fees and costs of the suit.

Felonies

Kyra I. Mostajo, 35, Livingston, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a Nov. 16 incident.

Linda S. Buford, 53, Edwardsville, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with an Oct. 20 incident.

John M. Molinar, 32, Staunton, has been charged with failure to comply with a condition of home detention in connection with a Jan. 2 incident in which he allegedly left his residence without authorization.

Raymond E. Jones, 50, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in connection with a Dec. 30 incident in which he allegedly failed to complete his weekly registration with Carlinville Police Department.

Misdemeanors

Kade R. Barnard, 21, Waverly, has been charged with battery in connection with a Nov. 5 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face with his fist.

Jack L. Crissey, 39, Virden, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a Dec. 30 incident in which he allegedly called a protected party.

Jerad D. Wilkenson, 26, Bunker Hill, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Dec. 29 incident in which he allegedly pushed an individual.

Zachary L. Curley, 33, Mt. Olive, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Jan. 3 incident in which he allegedly pushed an individual down to the ground and placed his hands around the individual’s throat.

Jakob D. Stanley, 18, Benld, has been charged with criminal sexual abuse in connection with a Jan. 3-4 incident in which he allegedly committed an act of sexual penetration with a person who was at least 13 but under 17 years of age  when the act was committed, and Stanley was less than five years older than the individual.

Roni J. Richardson, 19, Carlinville, has been charged with battery in connection with a Dec. 28 incident in which he allegedly pushed an individual in the chest.

Jacob D. Springer, 33, Bunker Hill, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Dec. 10 incident in which he allegedly grabbed and shoved an individual.

Angela M. Barton, 20, Carlinville, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with a Dec. 23 incident in which she allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of 0.086.

DUIs

William R. Werner Jr., 21, Mt. Olive, has been charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on a suspended license and driver required to wear seat belts in connection with a Dec. 8 incident in which he allegedly drove a blue 1997 Chevrolet on Route 66 east of Carlsburg Road, north of Mt. Olive.

Joann M. Bone, 41, Staunton, has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs or combination of drugs, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in connection with a Dec. 15 incident in which she allegedly drove a red 1997 Chrysler Sebring on North Union at Main Street in Staunton.

Kayla M. Parker, 28, Carlinville, has been charged with driving under the influence and expired registration sticker in connection with a Dec. 30 incident in which she allegedly drove a gold 2004 Chevrolet on Burton Street at Sumner Street, Carlinville.
