Felonies

Brandon L. Weatherford, 25, Carlinville, has been charged with retail theft and resisting a peace officer in connection with a Sept.14 incident in which he allegedly took chocolate milk valued at less than $500 from Casey’s General Store in Carlinville and ran from an officer.

Justin C. Grider, 35, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of more than five grams but less than 15 grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a July 25 incident.

Brandon L. Golbricht, 25, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth in connection with a July 20 incident.

Timothy R. Garrett, 21, Cottage Hills, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a July 8 incident.

Larry D. Keffer, 59, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a June 15 incident.

Lucas M. Palmer, 26, Bethalto, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a July 19 incident.

Zachary M. Atkins, now 34, St. Louis, Mo., has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a May 11 incident.

Frank C. Avila, 32, Corona, Calif., has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a Nov. 10, 2017, incident.

Dustin J. Ivey, 20, Mt. Olive, has been charged with aggravated battery and unlawful restraint in connection with a Sept. 18 incident in which he allegedly shoved an individual against a counter at Casey’s General Store in Staunton, a public place of accommodation, and held an individual against the individual’s will and transported the individual to Staunton.

Aaron E. Elston, 21, Divernon, has been charged with aggravated battery in connection with a Sept. 18 incident in which he allegedly stabbed an individual in the neck with a knife.

Crystal D. Stricklan, 39, Mt. Clare, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth and more than 100 grams but less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis in connection with a Sept. 19 incident.

Raymond E. Jones, 51, Carlinville, has been charged with two counts of unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in connection with a Sept. 20 incident in which he allegedly was released from Macoupin County Jail and knowingly failed to register with Carlinville Police Department after being released more than three days and failed to complete his quarterly registration.

Ryan T. Lindgens, 29, Staunton, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with a Sept. 21 incident.

William K. Lester, 47, Loami, has been charged with driving while license suspended in connection with a Sept. 24 incident in which he allegedly drove a 2005 Buick on West Center Street at Sixth Street, Girard.

Misdemeanors

Jamie E. Cox, 33, Carlinville, has been charged with criminal damage to property in connection with a Sept. 7 incident in which she allegedly caused less than $300 damage to an individual’s vehicle tires by stabbing it with a pocket knife.

Bryanna P. Costello, now 25, Palmyra, has been charged with retail theft in connection with an Aug. 17 incident in which she allegedly took cosmetic supplies valued at less than $300 from Carlinville Walmart.

Manuel A. Delgado, 35, Collinsville, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with an Aug. 30 incident in which he allegedly furnished a false name to an officer who had detained him.

Sidney T. Ward, 27, Carlinville, has been charged with two counts of criminal trespass to real property in connection with an Aug. 23 incident in which he allegedly entered onto property of Carlinville Subway after previously being notified by management that he was not allowed to enter onto the property and a Sept. 15 incident in which he allegedly entered onto property of Carl’s IGA after previously being notified by management that he was not allowed to enter onto the property.

Megan A. Shelton, 19, Bunker Hill, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with a Sept. 15 incident in which she allegedly consumed UV vodka at Beaver Dam State Park.

Steven B. Pesavento, 32, Benld, has been charged with theft in connection with a Sept. 12 incident in which he allegedly exerted unauthorized control over an individual’s hoverboard valued at less than $500.

Abigail L. Springman, 20, Bethalto, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with a Sept. 15 incident in which she allegedly consumed UV vodka at Beaver Dam State Park.

Brandon L. Wiseman, 22, Carlinville, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a Sept. 18 incident in which he allegedly made contact with a protected party by sending a text message to the individual’s phone.

Regina L. Faning, 34, Carlinville, has been charged with retail theft in connection with an Aug. 25 incident in which she allegedly took cookie mix valued at less than $300 from Dollar General in Carlinville.

Linda J. Ballowe, 66, Carlinville, has been charged with retail theft in connection with an Aug. 30 incident in which she allegedly took tea, honey and a candle valued at less than $300 from Carlinville Walmart.

Carl L. Stark, 39, Carlinville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Sept. 20 incident in which he allegedly grabbed an individual by the throat and squeezed.

Natasha L. Stratton, 34, Hillsboro, has been charged with two counts of deceptive practices in connection with July 22-23 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $40 and $55 to Joseph F. Boente and Sons, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

Jered L. Carlen, now 34, Mt. Olive, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a May 22 incident in which he allegedly delivered a check for $195 to RP Lumber, knowing his bank would not honor the draft.

Donald D. Marit, 54, Litchfield, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a Sept. 21 incident in which he allegedly harassed an individual by beating on the individual’s door and windows at 5 a.m.

Bradly S, Nichols, 36, Walshville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Sept. 21 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face with his hand.
