Lawsuits

First MidAmerica Credit Union filed a complaint Sept. 13 against Jason E. and Dustin Cannedy, seeking $12,735.88 unpaid on a retail installment contract, plus prejudgment interest at a rate of 7.74 percent and postjudgment interest at a rate of 9 percent, plus reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

Federal Home Lone Mortgage Corporation filed a complaint Sept. 13 against John Bredewill and unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Brighton.

Ronald Bertolino filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Sept. 18 against Denny and Jennifer Kuhn, seeking possession of property in Gillespie, $2,310 rent, attorney’s fees and court costs.

Central Illinois Realty Company filed a complaint Sept. 18 against April and William Kaylor and all unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Virden plus $2,723.50 for rent and late fees ($2,045), attorney’s fees, costs and service.

First Community Credit Union filed a complaint Sept. 18 against Tyler K. Binney, seeking $14,169.55 unpaid on a vehicle purchase contract, plus interest at a rate of 10.99 percent per annum from Sept. 12, 2017, reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs.

Misdemeanors

Harold W. Kelley, 41, Gillespie, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with a Sept. 6 incident in which he allegedly entered a building in the 500 block of Park Avenue, Gillespie, after receiving notice prior to entry that such entry was forbidden.

Nolan F. Harrison, 18, Thayer, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with a Sept. 6 incident.

Cole Y. Waugh, 35, Benld, has been charged with three counts of deceptive practices in connection with an April 26 incident in which he allegedly delivered a check for $5 to the Macoupin County Clerk, knowing his bank would not honor the draft, and June 15 incidents in which he allegedly delivered checks for $1,294.94 and $141.11 to R.P. Lumber.

Stephanie L. Seidelman, 44, Virden, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a Sept. 13 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $32.12 to Ron’s Redbird Cafe, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Dustin J. Harman, 26, Kane, has been charged with deceptive practice in connection with an April 21 incident in which he allegedly delivered a check for $40 to Triple L Ag Supply, knowing his bank would not honor the draft.

Brandi Fisher, 45, Medora, has been charged with two counts of deceptive practices in connection with July 8 and July 11 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $25.87 and $44.51 to Triple L Ag Supply, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

Amanda D. Ingrham, 43, Bethalto, has been charged with 12 counts of deceptive practices in connection with July 23-30 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $25.91, $74.36, $80.62, $49.26, $62.73, $73.19, $48.25, $60.91, $59.22, $66.28, $45.88, and $73.19 to Bunker Hill Short Stop, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

Joseph V. Greear, 46, Wilsonville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Sept. 12 incident in which he allegedly pushed an individual into a wall.

Shawn M. Evans, 31, Carlinville, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a Sept. 12 incident in which he allegedly was within 500 feet of a protected property.

Janelle I. Adams, 34, Girard, has been charged with battery in connection with a Sept. 16 incident in which she allegedly struck an individual in the face with her fist.

Danielle J. Burlingame, 25, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Sept. 16 incident in which she allegedly struck an individual in the head with her hand.

Kelly E. Lyons, now 53, Benld, has been charged with escape in connection with an Aug. 30 incident in which he allegedly failed to report to Macoupin County Jail when ordered to do so.

DUI

Randy W. Ellis, now 47, Edwardsville, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of illegal transportation of alcohol and driving 11-14 mph above the limit (68 mph in a 55 mph zone) in connection with an Aug. 18 incident in which he allegedly drove a gray 2017 Volkswagen on Route 159 southbound north of Route 138, north of Bunker Hill.
