Abby L. Evans filed a complaint Aug. 17 against Charlene M. Giles and Ronald Bell in connection with an Aug. 24, 2016, automobile accident, seeking an amount in excess of $50,000 from each defendant.
Cathy Cimarolli and Susan Pirok filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Aug. 15 against Joe and Abby Evans, seeking possession of property in Staunton and $575 rent, plus court costs and damages.
Absolute Resolutions Investments, LLC, filed a complaint Aug. 17 against Colleen M. Koprowitz, seeking $17,036.38 unpaid on a consumer loan agreement, plus costs of the suit.
William J. Corbin, 27, Gillespie, has been charged with two counts of retail theft in connection with a July 30 incident in which he allegedly took hunting, phone and video game accessories with a total value of less than $300 from Carlinville Walmart.
Patricia G. Harbaugh, 39, Carlinville, has been charged with burglary in connection with an Aug. 7 incident in which she allegedly entered an individual’s building in the 600 block of North High Street, Carlinville, with intent to commit a theft. She was also charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with an Aug. 10 incident in which she allegedly entered another individual’s building in the 500 block of West First South Street, Carlinville, without authority.
Melissa A. Ontis-Turnbaugh, 37, Godfrey, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth in connection with an Aug. 13 incident. She was also charged with operating a motor vehicle with license plate covers, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no window treatment on windows adjacent to driver, and driving while license suspended.
Elaina B. McDaniels, now 26, Carlinville, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with a May 24 incident.
Mitchell R. Hancock, 32, Litchfield, has been charged with driving while license revoked in connection with a July 9 incident in which he allegedly drove a 1998 Chevrolet truck on North Broad Street, Carlinville. He was also charged with improper use of registration.
Jesse W. Myers, 28, Springfield, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with an Aug. 18 incident in which he allegedly furnished a false name to a peace officer who had detained him.
