Lawsuits

CNB Bank and Trust, N.A., filed a complaint July 20 against Elite Classic Cars, LLC, and Clinton N. Knight, seeking $184,733.75 unpaid on a promissory note, plus $500 late charges; interest in the rate of $23.8062 per day following June 22, 2017, until date of judgment; attorney’s fees; and costs.

Consumer Collection Management filed a complaint July 20 against Michael L. Lockhart, seeking $30,895.91 unpaid for medical services, plus costs of the suit.

Macoupin Housing, LP, filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer July 20 against Amanda Ingrham, seeking possession of property in Staunton; rent, late charges, and/or other monies due and owing; attorney’s fees; and costs.

Macoupin County Housing Authority filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer July 21 against Jessica Heigert, seeking possession of property in Gillespie; rent, late charges, and/or other monies due and owing; attorney’s fees; and costs.

Felonies

Amy R. Bolletto, 40, Palmyra, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth in connection with a July 17 incident.

Sebastian S. Nessl, 22, Mt. Olive, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing FUB-AMB) in connection with a July 16 incident.

Charles C. Campbell, 70, Gillespie, has been charged with driving while license revoked in connection with a July 1 incident in which he allegedly drove a 1994 Ford truck on Macoupin Street in Gillespie.

Alexander B. Shanks, 24, Virden, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth and two counts of theft in connection with a July 18 incident in which he allegedly exerted unauthorized control over two individuals’ bicycles, each valued at less than $500.

Zachary A. Turner, 22, Virden, has been charged with defrauding a drug and alcohol screening test in connection with a June 16 incident in which he allegedly substituted a drug urine sample with the intent of attempting to foil or defeat a drug screening test.

Edward B. Dunn Jr., 24, Carlinville, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a July 4 incident in which he allegedly took an Xbox headset valued at less than $500 from Carlinville Walmart.

Tyler A.R. Ramberg, 20, Harvard, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine) in connection with a July 22 incident.

Danielle A. Marinacci, 32, Benld, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing FUB-AMB) in connection with a May 29 incident.

Misdemeanors

Charles D. Lair, 51, Gillespie, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with a May 25 incident in which he allegedly furnished a false name to a peace officer who had detained him.

Jamie B. Slightom, 46, Litchfield, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a July 16 incident in which he allegedly pushed an individual in the torso with his hands.

Christopher R. Lott, 44, Carlinville, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a July 13 incident in which he allegedly was within 100 feet of a protected person.

John W. Trosley, 36, Hettick, has been charged with battery in connection with an April 26 incident in which he allegedly pushed an individual.

Seth A. Ring, 19, Gillespie, has been charged with criminal trespass to real residence in connection with a July 18 incident in which he allegedly entered a residence in the 300 block of Shelby Street, Gillespie, without authority.

James L. Kirk, 40, Gillespie, has been charged with battery in connection with a July 20 incident in which he allegedly punched an individual in the mouth with a closed fist.

Blake R. Corzine, 26, Brighton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a July 22 incident in which he allegedly grabbed an individual by the throat against a wall and then the ground.
