Lawsuits

Rob Hohmeier filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer May 30 against Amy Bolletto, seeking possession of property in Palmyra and $500 rent.

Madonna R. Tideman/MRT Investments, LLC filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer June 1 against Carl Thompson, seeking possession of property in Carlinville, $2,680 rent and court fees.

Carolyn E. Bogue filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer June 5 against Ben Brooks and Lisa Quinn, seeking possession of property in Carlinville and $450 rent, plus damages.

Vanderbilt Mortgange and Finance Inc. filed a complaint for replevin against Cindy J. Chapman and the unknown heirs and devisees of Margaret L. Vestel, seeking possession of a 2006 Riverview Clayton mobile/manufactured home and the value of the property not delivered.

Felonies

Tesa L. Wilson, 21, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful possession of meth (less than five grams) and aggravated assault in connection with a May 19 incident in which she allegedly pointed a replica Colt 1911 .45 pistol at an officer’s chest.

Jennifer A. Watson, 33, Palmyra, has been charged with unlawful possession of meth (less than five grams) in connection with a May 27 incident.

Heather N. Lara, 36, Staunton, has been charged with meth possession (more than five grams but less than 15 grams) in connection with a May 27 incident.

Dillan J. Weaver, 18, Virden, has been charged with theft in connection with a May 28 incident in which he allegedly took an individual’s Ford 150, valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000.

Gary W. Fuller Jr., 26, Staunton, has been charged with two counts of unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in connection with a May 30 incident in which he allegedly failed to register within 90 days of his previous registration and failed to notify the chief of the Staunton Police Department upon leaving his jurisdiction.

John G. Freezeland, 55, Wilsonville, has been charged with aggravated driving under the influence and driving while license revoked in connection with a May 31 incident in which he allegedly drove a 2000 Ford Taurus on Washington Street, Bunker Hill. He was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving 11-14 mph above the limit (47 mph in a 35 mph zone).

Zachary T. Gears, now 25, Staunton, has been charged with aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer in connection with a May 31 incident in which he allegedly fled a police officer after being given a visual and audible signal, and in doing so exceeded the speed limit by more than 21 mph on Route 4. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding more than 35 mph above the limit (102 mph in a 55 mph zone).

Shannon M. Corwin, now 32, Virden, has been charged with meth possession (less than 15 grams) in connection with an April 21 incident.

Jessica J. Woyen, 27, Bunker Hill, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing buprenorphine) in connection with a May 12 incident.

David J. Karrick, 36, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a  substance containing FUB-AMB) in connection with a March 24 incident.

Misdemeanors

Jeffrey A. Karnosky, now 52, Staunton, has been charged with harassment by telephone in connection with a May 19 incident in which he allegedly made a telephone call to an individual in Staunton, threatening to slit the individual’s throat and burn down the individual’s house.

Brock A. Werner, 19, Gillespie, has been charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with a May 12 incident in which he allegedly pulled away from an officer and refused to allow the officer to place him into a squad car.

Eric M. Streeb, 28, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a May 26 incident in which he allegedly punched an individual in the face with a closed fist.

Allen E. Schreier, 28, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a May 26 incident in which he allegedly grabbed an individual by the throat.

Alexandria G. Vanhooser, 26, Staunton, has been charged with assault in connection with a May 27 incident in which she allegedly kicked car doors and repeatedly told an individual she was going to kill the individual with a handgun.

Brendan D. Buzick, 26, Benld, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with a May 29 incident in which he allegedly furnished a false name to an officer who had detained him.

Kindra N. Blankenship, 29, Nokomis, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a May 30 incident in which she allegedly came within 500 feet of a protected place.

Craig P. Barnes, 26, Gillespie, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with a June 4 incident in which he allegedly remained upon an individual’s land in the 800 block of Rotary, Gillespie, after receiving prior notice to depart.

David C. Clark, 24, Brighton, has been charged with criminal damage to property in connection with a May 21 incident in which he allegedly caused less than $500 damage to an individual’s window and walls.

DUIs

Christopher P. Straub, 24, Bunker Hill, has been charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and failure to report an accident in connection with a May 14 incident in which he allegedly drove a red 2002 GMC truck at the intersection of South Hickory and Alton streets, Bunker Hill.

Anthony F. Broyles, 57, Bunker Hill, has been charged with driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to yield when turning left and illegal squealing/screeching of tires.

Corey A.M. Hendricks, 28, Litchfield, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of improper lane usage and driving 11-14 mph above the limit (84 mph in a 70 mph zone).
