Lawsuits

Central Illinois Realty Company filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer May 15 against Nathaniel Black and Courtney Ferguson, seeking possession of property in Virden and $3,043 for rent ($2,287), attorney’s fees, costs and service.

Steven A. Turner filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer May 15 against Johnathon S. Burns, seeking possession of property in Brighton.

Consumer Collection Management filed a complaint May 22 against Kyle P. and Linda K. Hood, seeking $11,251.47 unpaid for medical services, plus costs of the suit.

Carol Weik filed a complaint May 8 against Tilley’s Tavern in connection with a May 9, 2016, incident in which Weik fell off a stage in the establishment, seeking an amount in excess of $50,000 and trial by jury.

Benjamin Jackson, on behalf of minor Luke Jackson, filed a complaint May 15 against Thomas M. McBee and Skylar R. Harbaugh, a minor, in connection with a July 2, 2016, automobile accident, seeking an amount in excess of $50,000 from each defendant,exclusive of interest and costs.

Gerald R. and Alice M. Breitweiser filed a complaint May 21 against Edric W. Heindricks in connection with a June 15, 2016, automobile accident, seeking an amount in excess of $50,000, plus costs of the suit.

Amy L. Heyen filed a complaint May 21 against Eddie A. Heyen in connection with a May 30, 2016, incident in which E. Heyen allegedly kicked A. Heyen in the right ankle, causing injury. A. Heyen seeks an amount in excess of $50,000, plus costs of the suit.

Felonies

Dawn L. Shales, 49, Carlinville, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a May 2 incident in which she allegedly took clothing valued at less than $!50 from Carlinville Walmart.

Shanna R. Kuntzman, 36, Virden, has been charged with unlawful possession of more than 500 grams but less than 2,000 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver in connection with a March 15 incident.

Eric Foster, 53, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with an April 22 incident.

Amanda L. Neel, 31, Carlinville, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with an April 22 incident.

Misdemeanors

Jai A. Savage, 50, Springfield, has been charged with battery in connection with a Feb. 9 incident in which he allegedly spit in an individual’s face.

Jennifer D. Lopez, 38, Auburn, has been charged with theft in connection with a Jan. 18 incident in which she allegedly obtained control over an individual’s cash.

Frank J. Innis Jr., 24, Thayer, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with a May 14 incident in which he allegedly furnished a false name to a peace officer who had lawfully detained him.

Harold D. Martin, 35, Girard, has been charged with unlawful use of weapons in connection with a May 17 incident in which he allegedly possessed metal knuckles.
