Lawsuits

CHS, Inc., filed a complaint April 19 against James R. Walker and James R. Walker Jr., seeking $253,396.77 unpaid on a promissory note, plus $35.78 daily interest accruing after April 4, reasonable attorney’s fees and costs of the suit.

R&H Rentals, Inc., filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer April 17 against Cassidy Hall, seeking possession of property in Carlinville, attorney’s fees and costs.

R&H Rentals, Inc., filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer April 17 against Jessy Bishop, seeking possession of property in Carlinville, rent, attorney’s fees and costs.

Doug Kessinger (by Sue Pirok, property manager) filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer April 23 against Joshua and Tiffney Hensley, seeking possession of property in Gillespie, $715 rent and court costs.

Felonies

Lamont C. Alberty, 18, Hillsboro, has been charged with burglary in connection with an April 13 incident in which he allegedly entered an individual’s 2007 Buick with the intent to commit a theft. He was also charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Michael J. Foster, 19, Carlinville, has been charged with burglary in connection with an April 13 incident in which he allegedly entered an individual’s 2000 Buick with the intent to commit a theft. He was also charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Joseph R. Peach, 40, Benld, has been charged with burglary in connection with an April 3 incident in which he allegedly entered, without causing damage, an individual’s silver 2013 Kia, with the intent to commit a theft.

Joanna M. Hibbs, 30, Wood River, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing Fentanyl) in connection with a March 9 incident.

Kenneth D. Coleman, 38, Marietta, Ga., has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine) in connection with a March 9 incident.

Rosemary S. Forsythe, 29, Jerseyville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing Fentanyl) in connection with a March 9 incident.

Misdemeanors

Stephanie R. Sebastian, 28, Jerseyville, has been charged with obstructing a peace officer in connection with a March 17 incident in which she allegedly left the scene after being lawfully detained and ordered to remain.

Gerald L. Harris, 61, Godfrey, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a Feb. 11 incident in which he allegedly made contact with a protected party by sending a text message to the individual’s phone.

Dalton E. Womas, 20, Carlinville, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with a March 14 incident in which he allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of 0.114.

Konnor L. Emmons, 19, Carlinville, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with an April 13 incident in which he allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of 0.076.

Douglas G. Gray, 20, Greenfield, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with an April 13 incident in which he allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of 0.148.

Kaitlyn M. Brockmiller, 19, Carlinville, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with an April 13 incident in which she allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of 0.067.

Quinn R. Dugger, 19, Sterling, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with an April 13 incident in which she allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of 0.051.

Lindsey M. Webb, 26, Mt. Olive, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an April 16 incident in which she allegedly punched an individual in the face with a closed fist.

Steven T. Acord, 39, Carlinville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an April 17 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face with his hand.

Brett J. Huette, 28, Bunker Hill, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an April 17 incident in which he allegedly threw an individual to the ground.

Jacob J. Gerhardt, 35, Staunton, has been charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with an April 19 incident in which he allegedly refused an officer’s commands and pulled away from the officer.

Benjamin S. Tomasko, 19, Virden, has been charged with theft in connection with an April 7 incident in which he allegedly exerted unauthorized control over an individual’s firewood.

Dylan A. Sims, 19, Godfrey, has been charged with unlawful possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of a substance containing cannabis in connection with a Feb. 8 incident.

Brittany N. Ingles, 28, Sorento, has been charged with endangering the life or health of a child in connection with an April 3 incident in which she allegedly knowingly left a minor in a car unattended for a period in excess of 10 minutes.

DUI

Mark R. Heitzig, 31, Brighton, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane usage in connection with an April 15 incident in which he allegedly drove a maroon 1996 Mercury on Margaret Street at Virginia in Brighton.
