Lawsuit

Ivan and Dorothy Bruckert filed a complaint for eviction April 13 against Chris Hancock, Jamie Roach and unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Bunker Hill and $2,600 rent.

Felonies

Demian E. Ellis 40, Mt. Olive, has been charged with grooming in connection with a Feb. 20 incident in which he allegedly used Facebook to solicit a child under age 17 to commit the offense of aggravated criminal sexual assault, in that he sent electronic messages to the child, soliciting sexual intercourse from the child.

Andrew P. Spensburger, 18, Wilsonville, has been charged with burglary in connection with an April 9 incident in which he allegedly entered Frank and Sons in Wilsonville with the intent to commit a theft.

Denyse D. Greff, 48, Virden, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing FUB-AMB) in connection with a Feb. 18 incident.

Patricia G. Harbaugh, 39, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a Feb. 28 incident.

Zachary R. Rogers, 21, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine) in connection with a Feb. 1 incident.

Barbara L. Pingleton, 50, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing FUB-AMB).

Norman J. Jones, 40, Milwaukee, Wis., has been charged with bringing contraband into a penal institution in connection with an April 13 incident in which he allegedly knowingly and without authority brought cannabis into Macoupin County Jail. He was also charged with driving while license suspended, improper lane usage, operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communications device and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Jerald P. Bailey, 54, Girard, has been charged with unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in connection with an April 15 incident in which he allegedly failed to register with Girard Police Department after living in their jurisdiction for more than three days.

Misdemeanors

Brendan C. Ferrari, 24, Gillespie, has been charged with disorderly conduct in connection with an April 6 incident in which he allegedly yelled at an individual, pounded on the window of the individual’s house and broke a lighter on the ground in the individual’s house.

David L. Heape, 36, Alton, has been charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with an April 9 incident in which he allegedly refused to allow himself to be handcuffed and attempted to reach into his pockets after being told to put his hands behind his back.

Jeffery L. Herring, 40, Valmeyer, has been charged with two counts of escape in connection with March 2 and March 23 incidents in which he failed to report to Macoupin County Jail when ordered to do so.

Amy L. Cox, 32, Gillespie, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a March 22 incident in which she allegedly took gasoline valued at less than $!50 from Casey’s General Store in Staunton.

Zachary A. Turner, 29, Virden, has been charged with theft in connection with a March 30 incident in which he allegedly exerted unauthorized control over an individual’s scrap metal, valued at less than $500.

Stacey L. Manley, 40, Staunton, has been charged with escape in connection with an April 6 incident in which she allegedly failed to report to Macoupin County Jail when ordered to do so.

Charles R. Tauchert, 44, Carlinville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an April 10 incident in which he allegedly grabbed an individual by the neck and squeezed.

Anita F. Nance, 56, Carlinville, has been charged with theft in connection with a Nov. 10, 2017, incident in which she allegedly took an individual’s checks, valued at less than $500.

Shane M. Dugger, 29, Palmyra, has been charged with theft of lost or mislaid property in connection with a March 28 incident in which he allegedly obtained control over an individual’s bicycle and intended to deprive the owner permanently of its use, while having a reasonable means to identify the owner and failing to take reasonable measures to return it.

Brianne J. Malone, 18, Bunker Hill, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an April 13 incident in which she allegedly pulled an individual’s hair out of the individual’s head and bit the individual on the left side of the breast area.

Jamie D. Hartman, now 34, Pana, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a Dec. 15, 2017, incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $19.58 to Joseph F. Boente Sons, Inc., knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

DUIs

Francis L. Koniak, 41, Gillespie, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane usage in connection with an April 8 incident in which he allegedly drove a black 2002 Toyota on North Broad at Morgan Street, Carlinville.

Dryce A. Cunningham, 18, Carlinville, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of driving on a suspended license in connection with an April 7 incident in which he allegedly drove a white 2004 Chevrolet truck on Litchfield Road east of Cottonwood Road, southeast of Carlinville.

Michael S. Dooley, 35, Alton, has been charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage in connection with an April 7 incident in which he allegedly drove a silver 2007 Chrysler at the intersection of Fosterburg Road and Brown Road,  southwest of Woodburn.
