Lawsuits

Judith A. Impson filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer April 3 against Terri Brackett, seeking possession of property in Girard.

Jackie Reeber filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer April 3 against Joe Lindsey and Karra Edwards, seeking possession of property in Carlinville, $2,400 rent, water bill, attorney’s fees and costs of the suit.

Heritage Manor – Carlinville, d.b.a. Heritage Health, filed a complaint April 6 against Shirley M. and Kimberly L. Schmedeke, seeking $25,474.74 unpaid for nursing home services, plus interest, attorney’s fees and costs of the suit.

Felonies

Michael T. Mitchusson, 25, Girard, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a March 25 incident in which he allegedly took beer valued at less than $500 from Freedom Oil in Girard.

Tyler J. Kluthe, 28, Mt. Olive, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with a March 25 incident.

Tammara F. Conlee, 57, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful possession of meth (less than five grams) and drug paraphernalia (a smoking device) in connection with an April 3 incident.

Jack L. Crissey Sr., 61, Virden, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a March 31 incident in which he allegedly came within 500 feet of a protected location.

Joseph M. Richvalsky, 44, St. Peters, Mo., has been charged with possession of stolen property in connection with an April 2 incident in which he allegedly obtained control over a Honda “Black Max” generator valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000, knowing it to have been stolen.

Steven W. Griffin, 37, Springfield, has been charged with unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in connection with a Feb. 20 incident in which he allegedly registered as a sex offender and knowingly failed to disclose an internet communication identity, in that he failed to inform Carlinville Police Department of a Facebook account.

Daniel E. Friesland, 55, Staunton, has been charged with unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in connection with a March 31 incident in which he allegedly failed to register an address in the 100 block of School Street, Wilsonville, in which he had stayed for more than three aggregate days in a calendar year, with the Macoupin County Sheriff’s Department.

Dryce A. Cunningham, 18, Carlinville, has been charged with aggravated driving under the influence and driving while license revoked in connection with an April 7 incident in which he allegedly drove a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado truck on Litchfield Road near Cottonwood Road, southeast of Carlinville.

Misdemeanors

Susan M. Haag, 56, Staunton, has been charged with possession of firearm ammunition without a valid FOID card in connection with an April 3 incident.

Amber L. Buchanan, 24, Fidelity, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an April 3 incident in which she allegedly struck an individual with a stick.

DUIs

Corbin W. Phelps, 18, Bethalto, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane usage in connection with an April 1 incident in which he allegedly drove a black 2009 Nissan on North Main at Virginia, Brighton.

Christopher C. Wells, 40, Collinsville, has been charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol in connection with an April 4 incident in which he allegedly drove a red 2005 Chevrolet truck on Dorchester Road south of Rock Road, west of Gillespie.
