Lawsuits

Jeff Moss filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer March 23 against Jane Bodoh, seeking possession of property in Carlinville and $950 rent.

Donna Schlief filed a complaint March 27 against AT&T Corp. for placing utility poles and burying utility lines on her farmland without an easement. She seeks an order requiring AT&T to remove all lines, poles and structures and awarding her fees for AT&T’s use and occupancy of the property, as well as punitive damages.

Felonies

Christian J. Willis, 20, St. Louis, Mo., has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing Alprazolam) in connection with a Jan. 31 incident.

Bradley E. Flowers, 45, Auburn, has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery in connection with a March 18 incident in which he allegedly grabbed a peace officer by the face and struck another peace officer about the arms with his fists.

Allan M. Springman, 33, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine) in connection with a Jan. 28 incident.

Takoda M. Harbaugh, 19, Carlinville, has been charged with burglary and criminal damage to property in connection with a March 21 incident in which he allegedly entered the building of Plaza Laundry Matt with the intent to commit a theft and caused less than $500 damage to a coin machine belonging to the business.

Cody W. Gum, 24, San Jose, has been charged with unlawful possession of more than 30 grams but less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis with the intent to deliver and possession of more than 100 grams but less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis in connection with a March 22 incident. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Dominique M. Kierbach, now 19, Benld, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (a clear glass pipe) in connection with a March 21 incident.

Dawn M. Hughes-Sanders, 45, Carlinville, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with a March 22 incident.

Clement P. Serrano, 25, Carlinville, has been charged with violation of a stalking no contact order in connection with a March 22 incident in which he allegedly sent a video message to a protected person via Facebook.

Marybeth Koniak, 47, Staunton, has been charged with two counts of driving while license revoked in connection with a March 9 incident in which she allegedly drove a 2003 Oldsmobile sedan on Route 4 in Staunton and a March 12 incident in which she allegedly drove the same vehicle on Bunker Hill Road in Staunton.

Brian D. Raynor, 39, Edwardsville, has been charged with burglary in connection with an Aug. 11, 2016, incident in which he allegedly entered a building belonging to Staunton Country Club in the 3200 block of South Country Club Lane, Staunton, with the intent to commit a theft.

Misdemeanors

Jim W. Wallace, 57, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a March 23 incident in which he allegedly pushed an individual to the ground, causing a laceration to the individual’s elbow.

Dean P. Weller, 26, Carlinville, has been charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with a March 22 incident in which he allegedly laid on his hands and refused to place his hands behind his back when ordered to do so.

Raymond R. Fields, 49, Gillespie, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with a March 20 incident in which he allegedly entered upon property of Macoupin County Housing Authority in the 500 block of Lynn Street, Gillespie, after previously being served a no trespassing warning for said property by the property owner.

Kyle M. Sellers, 20, Benld, has been charged with criminal damage to property in connection with a March 19 incident in which he allegedly caused less than $500 damage to an individual’s window.

David L. Shapiro, 65, Hettick, has been charged with criminal damage to property in connection with a July 17, 2016, incident in which he allegedly caused less than $500 damage to road patch belonging to the village of Hettick.

Che D. Lasica, 26, Chesterfield, has been charged with illegal dumping in connection with a March 4 incident in which she allegedly deposited litter (three bags of garbage and a diaper box) on the side of Redington Road near Chesterfield.

Darrell T. Pocklington Jr., 27, Palmyra, has been charged with theft in connection with a Feb. 8 incident in which he allegedly obtained control over an individual’s property, valued at less than $500, by deception.

DUI

MacKenzie E. Pesavento, 22, Staunton, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving 15-20 mph above the limit (45 mph in a 30 mph zone) in connection with a March 11 incident in which she allegedly drove a silver 2012 Chevrolet Sonic on North Main Street north of Palmer Street, Brighton.
