Lawsuits

Kaja Holdings 2, LLC, filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Aug. 9 against Teresa A. and John E. Johnston and unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Carlinville and $3,000 rent.

Central Illinois Realty Company filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Aug. 9 against Bryan Gibson, Alexis Spann and all unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Virden and rent ($1,503.50), attorney’s fees, costs and service totaling $2,239.50.

Central Illinois Realty Company filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Aug. 11 against John and Amanda Rodgers and all unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Virden and rent ($1,600), attorney’s fees, costs and service totaling $2,336.

Commerce Bank filed a complaint Aug. 14 against Jason D. Rodney, seeking $10,624.94 unpaid on a credit card account and $1,560.11 interest, plus interest at a rate of nine percent per annum from the date of judgment, and court costs.

Felonies

Cody L. Rogers, 28, Mt. Olive, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth in connection with an Aug. 4 incident. He was also charged with failure to yield at a stop intersection and having no valid driver’s license.

Carmen R. Baker, 58, Greenfield, has been charged with unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle in connection with a July 24 incident in which she allegedly possessed an individual’s 2010 GMC truck, knowing it to have been stolen.

Joshua C. Pingleton, 28, Litchfield, has been charged with unlawful possession of an Illinois vehicle registration sticker in connection with a May 25 incident.

Nathaniel C. Sebastian, 28, Shipman, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing oxycodone) in connection with a June 24 incident.

Michael P. Wood, 46, Carlinville, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with a May 15 incident.

Allan M. Springman, 34, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing cocaine) in connection wit ha June 10 incident.

Amanda L. Hill, now 31, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing Clonazepam) in connection with a June 15 incident.

Jason S. Price, 39, Gillespie, has been charged with driving while license revoked in connection with an April 23 incident in which he allegedly drove a 1996 Saturn sedan on Route 138 near Dorchester.

Jennifer D. Turner, 38, Plainview, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with an Aug. 8 incident.

Nicholas T. Green, 27, Urbana, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine) in connection with an Aug. 9 incident.

Nathon C. Arview, 30, Gillespie, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) and disorderly conduct in connection with an Aug. 9 incident in which he allegedly banged on windows and doors in the 100 block of Colfax Street, Mt. Olive.

John B. Simons, 51, Alton, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing Chlordiazepoxide) in connection with an April 4 incident.

Misdemeanors

Zachary R. Turner, 29, Virden, has been charged with criminal trespass to a real property in connection with an Aug. 2 incident in which he allegedly entered upon property in the 100 block of West Monroe Street, Girard, after having previously been notified by the owner that entry was forbidden.

John D. Wieseman, 47, Bunker Hill, has been charged with escape in connection with an Aug. 4 incident in which he allegedly failed to report to Macoupin County Jail when ordered to do so.

David J. Karrick, 36, Carlinville, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a July 30 incident in which he allegedly took a DVD valued at less than $300 from Carlinville Walmart.

Kimberly L. Foster, 36, Litchfield, has been charged with escape in connection with an Aug. 1 incident in which she allegedly failed to report to Macoupin County Jail when ordered to do so.

William A. McKorkle, 18, Mt. Olive, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with an Aug. 5 incident when his blood alcohol content level was 0.08.

Tyler J. Jones, 19, Staunton, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with an Aug. 5 incident when his blood alcohol content level was 0.101.

Ronald E. Vallery, 65, Shipman, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with an Aug. 13 incident in which he allegedly was within 500 feet of a protected person.

DUIs

Robert J. Chapman Myers, 26, Virden, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane usage in connection with a July 30 incident in which he allegedly drove a white 2017 Hyundai at the intersection of Seventh and Alton streets, Girard.

James D. Allen, 61, Gillespie, has been charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in connection with an Aug. 6 incident in which he allegedly drove a green 2002 Harley Davidson on Garrison Street at Bayless Road, Dorchester.

Frank H. Scheiter, now 45, Mt. Olive, has been charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, reckless driving and driving in the wrong lane in connection with an Aug. 4 incident in which he allegedly drove a white 2004 Pontiac on Tall Timber Road east of Two Mile Road, south of Mt. Olive.
