Lawsuits

Lori Spencer filed a complaint July 3 against Tory Holman, Bukurim Seferi and Jane Doe in connection with a July 28, 2016, incident in which Seferi, owner/operator of Black Diamond Bar and Grill, sold or gave alcoholic liquor to Holman and Doe, who allegedly later battered Spencer, inflicting injuries on her. Spencer seeks from Seferi a sum not to exceed the statutory limit for injury to person and a sum not to exceed the statutory limit for injury to property, plus costs; and from Holman and Doe a judgment in a sum in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court, plus costs.

Bank of America, N.A., filed a complaint July 5 against Deborah L. Odorizzi, seeking $24,967.68 unpaid on a credit account.

Danny Vesper filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer July 7 against Ashley N. Goth, seeking possession of property in Benld and $2,780.92 rent.

LVNV Funding LLC filed a complaint July 7 against George Mauney, seeking $10,527.74 unpaid on a credit card account.

Felonies

Susan A. Flynn, 44, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a July 1 incident.

Alex M. Baldwin, 20, Brighton, has been charged with criminal damage to state-supported property in connection with a July 2 incident in which he allegedly caused less than $500 damage to the hood of a Carlinville Police Department squad car by striking it with his head. He was also charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, possession of less than 10 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Todd L. Geninatti, 42, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth and retail theft in connection with a July 4 incident in which he allegedly took less than $150 of gasoline from Jumpin’ Jimmy’s, Gillespie. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license.

Deanna R. Renfroe, 36, of Mt. Olive, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth in connection with a July 5 incident.

Karlin E. Young, 34, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth in connection with a July 4 incident.

Christopher W. Nix, 42, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful possession of meth with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of meth in connection with a July 6 incident in which he allegedly possessed more than five grams but less than 15 grams of a substance containing meth.

Timothy R. Adams, 57, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth in connection with a July 9 incident. He was also charged with criminal trespass to real property.

Misdemeanors

Craig P. Barnes, 28, Gillespie, has been charged with resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct in connection with a July 3 incident in which he allegedly refused to turn around, pulled his arm away from an officer and stuck his head in an individual’s car while waving his arms around, while the individual was in the car.

Caleb J. Shores, 20, Girard, has been charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol in connection with a July 6 incident. He was also charged with unlawful operation of a watercraft while under the influence and unlawful operation in a no wake zone area at a speed above no wake.

DUIs

Colton J. Ross, 28, Belleville, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of failure to reduce speed, improper lane usage and operation of a commercial motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicating beverage in connection with a June 22 incident in which he allegedly drove a white 2011 GMC truck on Interstate 55 at milepost 45.5.

Dawn B. Mouser, 44, Gillespie, has been charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed and illegal transportation of alcohol in connection with a June 20 incident in which she allegedly drove a silver 1999 Dodge on Lake Road north of Route 16, west of Gillespie.

Jasen R. Hilyard, 37, Bunker Hill, has been charged with driving under the influence, having a defective windshield  and driving in the wrong lane in connection with a June 29 incident in which he allegedly drove a white 1995 Ford truck on Brighton Bunker Hill Road east of Elliot Road, west of Bunker Hill.

Armando Lara Munoz, 24, Coffeen, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane usage in connection with a July 1 incident in which he allegedly drove a blue 2010 Chevrolet on Route 4 south of Willow, Carlinville.
