Lawsuits

Mark A. Caudle filed a complaint Jan. 31 against Shirley Sanner, seeking $1,400,000, the estimated value of property, including four vehicles and a boat stored at Caudle’s father’s house, which he says Sanner fraudulently sold at auction.

Douglas A. Daugherty filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Feb. 3 against Benjamin Raymond, seeking possession of property in Girard, $2,000 rent, and filing and court costs.

Felonies

David E. Kierbach, 42, Mt. Olive, has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance in connection with a Jan. 30 incident in which he allegedly possessed 7.62x39mm round firearm ammunition and less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Mitchell S. Wirey, 46, Farmersville, has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated assault in connection with a Jan. 13 incident in which he allegedly knowingly carried in a vehicle a Hi Point Model JCP .40 caliber pistol and pointed said pistol at an individual.

Melissa C. May, 25, Waterloo, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth or a substance containing meth in connection with a Feb. 3 incident.

Misdemeanors

Robert J. Hartman, 33, Gillespie, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a Jan. 24 incident in which he allegedly called and left a voicemail on the phone of a protected person.

Austin J. Fanning, 23, Carlinville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Feb. 1 incident in which he allegedly threw an individual on the ground.

Annie L. Johnson, now 38, Benld, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a June 14 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $51.74 to Mt. Olive Enterprises, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Leeann C. Bennington, now 21, Brighton, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with an Oct. 16 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $15.89 to Joseph F. Boente and Sons, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Candace A. Force, 34, Gillespie, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a Nov. 2 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $29.64 to TJ’s, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Judith J. Davenport, now 54, Girard, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with an Oct. 28 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $55.19 to Dicarlo’s Pizza, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Larry D. Vaughn, 72, Bunker Hill, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Feb. 1 incident in which he allegedly pushed an individual to the floor.

Constance C. Niederbrach, 39, Staunton, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a Dec. 24 incident in which she allegedly took super glue, markers and t-shirts with a total value of less than $300 from Dollar General in Mt. Olive. She was also charged with retail theft in connection with a Jan. 3 incident in which she allegedly took personal hygiene items, hair coloring and shoes with a total value of less than $300 from Carlinville Walmart.

Erica A. Sechrest, now 20, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of a substance containing cannabis in connection with a Jan. 26 incident.

DUIs

Kara M. Burrow, 31, Gillespie, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane usage in connection with a Jan. 30 incident in which she allegedly drove a green 2001 Honda Civic on Route 4 at Spring Road, north of Gillespie.

Edward C. Heidenreich, 34, Springfield, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of having no rear registration light in connection with a Jan. 29 incident in which he allegedly drove a gray 2006 Infiniti on North Broad at West First North Street, Carlinville.

Shannon M. Coleman, 31, Girard, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence in connection with a Feb. 3 incident in which she allegedly drove a white 2007 Chevrolet on East First South Street at High Street, Carlinville.
