Lawsuits

Heritage Manor – Staunton, LLC, d.b.a. Heritage Health, filed a complaint Feb. 15 against Judy M. Rosenthal and Teresa K. Swenson, seeking $46,346.11 unpaid on a contract for nursing home services, plus attorney fees, interest and costs of the suit.

Helen J. Zarr and Cindy A. Ewin filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Feb. 15 against McKenzie Hayes, seeking possession of property in Staunton, $2,700 rent plus March rent, and court costs.

Tim Loveless filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Feb. 21 against James L. Webb, seeking possession of property in Gillespie, $1,500 rent and costs of the suit.

Tim Loveless filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Feb. 21 against Timothy D. Campbell, seeking possession of property in Wilsonville and a sum of $1,929.13 including rent for November 2016 through February 2017, partial October 2016 rent and $24.13 for water.

Felonies

Eric S. Damm, 28, Palmyra, has been charged with obstruction of justice in connection with a Jan. 22 incident in which he allegedly furnished false information to a Macoupin County Sheriff’s Department lieutenant about the location of a pink Ruger LCP .380 handgun which was evidence in a theft investigation.

Casey J. Smith, 25, Carlinville, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with a Jan. 24 incident.

Joshua W. Dickerson, now 29, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing buprenorphine) in connection with a June 1, 2016, incident.

Misdemeanors

John M. Molinar, 31, Staunton, has been charged with violation of a stalking/no contact order in connection with a Feb. 6 incident in which he allegedly was found at a protected place.

Robert M. Jordan, now 57, Litchfield, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Feb. 10 incident in which he allegedly elbowed an individual in the forehead.

Trisha L. Kester, 38, Benld, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a Nov. 3 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $30 to Animal Doctors LLP, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Kayla J. Shaw, 28, Staunton, has been charged with two counts of deceptive practices in connection with Nov. 26 and 28 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $79.46 and $52.14 to Bill’s IGA, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

Suzanne L. Robbins, 33, Gillespie, has been charged with two counts of deceptive practices in connection with Oct. 26-27 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $171.74 and $41.74 to Randy’s Market, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

Brandon M. Lyons, 36, Gillespie, has been charged with three counts of deceptive practices in connection with Nov. 4-5 incidents in which he allegedly delivered three checks for $100 each to Chief’s II, knowing his bank would not honor the drafts. He was also charged with another count of deceptive practices in connection with a Sept. 13 incident in which he allegedly delivered a check for $177.75 to Skeeter’s Pub.

Timothy Y. Adams, 24, Granite City, has been charged with littering from a motor vehicle in connection with a Jan. 28 incident in which he allegedly littered a cigarette on Interstate 55 southbound at milepost 47.5.

Breanna L. Livingston, 20, Morrisonville, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a Feb. 5 incident in which she allegedly took a bottle of Malibu valued at less than $500 from Carlinville Walmart.

Cheyenne N. Barrett, 18, Carlinville, has been charged with retail theft in connection with a Feb. 5 incident in which she allegedly took a bottle of Jack Daniels valued at less than $500 from Carlinville Walmart.

Joanne L. Dotson, 26, Decatur, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with a Jan. 25 incident in which she allegedly furnished a false name to an officer who had detained her.

DUI

Sheila M. Richardson, 44, Carlinville, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of illegal transportation of alcohol and failure to signal when required in connection with a Feb. 16 incident in which she allegedly drove a white 2013 Ford on South Locust Street at West First South Street, Carlinville.
