Lawsuits

Survival Flight Inc. filed a complaint April 5 against L. Aaron Moore, seeking $20,058.20 unpaid on emergency transport services, interest, attorney’s fees and costs as of the date of judgment, and reasonalbe value of all unpaid charges incurred by the defendant up to the date of judgment.

Macoupin County Housing Authority filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer April 6 against Elizabeth Hart, seeking possession of property in Staunton; rent, late charges, and/or other monies due and owing; reasonable attorney’s fees; and court costs.

Sabre Investments LLC filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer April 7 against Charlie and Melissa Conlee, seeking possession of property in Bunker Hill, termination of the agreement for quitclaim deed, and costs and fees of the suit.

Sabre Investments LLC filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer April 7 against JT Homes, Jeff Wells and Teresa Wells, seeking possession of property in Mt. Olive, termination of the agreement for quitclaim deed, and costs and fees of the suit.

Capital One Bank (USA), N.A., filed a complaint April 10 against John G. Crocks, seeking $10,535.17 unpaid on an account, plus costs.

Crown Asset Management LLC filed a complaint April 10 against Maurice R. Brubaker, seeking $14,207.82 unpaid on a charge account and/or line of credit, plus court costs.

Felonies

Sarah G. Goodman, 36, Springfield, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a Jan. 11 incident.

Christina L. Smith, now 31, Litchfield, has been charged with meth delivery in connection with an Oct. 17, 2016, incident in which she allegedly delivered less than five grams of meth to an individual.

Andrew E. Erwin, now 33, Stauntn, has been charged with meth delivery in connection with an Oct. 18, 2016, incident in which he allegedly delivered less than five grams of meth to an individual.

Russell J. Horrighs, 32, Virden, has been charged with criminal damage to property in connection with an April 6 incident in which he allegedly caused more than $500 but less than $10,000 damage to a red semi-truck owned by Flowers Sanitation by pulling the CB radio off its bracket, pulling the headliner down in the passenger compartment and tearing speaker covers off.

Annyssa R. Myers, 27, Virden, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a Jan. 21 incident.

Earl T. Schofield, now 30, Scottville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance in connection with an Oct. 23, 2016, incident in which he allegedly possessed less than 15 grams of a substance containing AB-FUBINACA. He was also charged with driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no headlights, having no valid registration and having an expired registration sticker.

Joshua L. Gooding, 29, Carlinville, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with an April 9 incident.

Misdemeanors

Jacob T. Laughlin, 36, Gillespie, has been charged with two counts of unlawful visitation or parenting time interference in connection with March 17 and March 31 incidents.

Logan T. Blevins, 20, Wilsonville, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with a March 25 incident. He was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger.

Bradley A. Nicolini, 18, Alton, has been charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with a March 24 incident in which he allegedly had a blood alcohol content level of 0.007. He was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger.

Jim W. Wallace, 57, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery and assault in connection with an April 2 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual above the right eye with a closed fist, showed a pocket knife to the individual and threatened to stab the individual.

Anthony T. Ttate, 24, East St. Louis, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with an April 4 incident in which he allegedly furnished a false name to a peace officer who had detained him.

Anissa M. Dequasie, 41, Staunton, has been charged with violatin of the animal control act in connection with a March 25 incident in which she allegedly recklessly allowed her dog, Spike, which had been deemed dangerous, to leave her propety, at which time her dog caused injury to another by biting.

Alex G. Stein, 22, Springfield, Mo., has been charged with unlawful possession of more than 30 grams but less than 100 grams of a substance containing cannabis in connection with a March 10 incident.

Mark B. Bersch, 60, Carlinville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an April 5 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the head with his fist.

Bonnie A. Hill, 58, Staunton, has been charged with battery in connection with an April 2 incident in which she allegedly struck an individual in the face with her fist.

William K. Flowers, 27, Carlinville, has been charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with an April 8 incident in which he was allegedly within 500 feet of a protected person.

Rebecca J. Furlong, 32, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an April 9 incident in which she allegedly struck an individual on the left side of the face with her hand.

DUIs

John T. Bennett, 39, Waverly, has been charged with driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on a revoked license and leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage in connection with a March 25 incident in which he allegedly drove a silver 2002 Chevrolet truck on Route 111 south of Fairview Farm Road, north of Palmyra.

James V. Carter, 47, Grafton, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of failure to reduce speed in connection with a March 30 incident in which he allegedly drove a maroon/gray 1990 Ford pickup truck on Route 16 east of Route 111, near Piasa.

John B. Simons, 51, Alton, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol in connection with an April 3 incident in which he allegedly drove on North Hickory Street, Palmyra.

Brock A. Emery, 23, Palmyra, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage and driving 21-25 mph above the limit (77 mph in a 55 mph zone) in connection with an April 2 incident in which he allegedly drove a black 2016 Chevrolet at the intersection of Emmerson Airline Road and Terry Park Road, east of Palmyra.
