Lawsuit

Clarence K. and Mary L. Coombs filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Dec. 18 against Dennis Cullen and unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Medora, and $630 for rent and allowing unauthorized occupants.

Felonies

Matthew S. Konneker, 36, Raymond, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth and aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer in connection with a Dec. 16 incident in which he allegedly, while driving a silver GMC truck, attempted to elude a peace officer after visual and audible signal was given, and in doing so disobeyed two stop signs. He was also charged with improper use of registration and disobeying a stop sign.

Ronnie W. Swann, 37, Bunker Hill, has been charged with failure to register with the violent offender against youth registry in connection with a Nov. 20 incident in which he allegedly failed to notify Bunker Hill Police Department within three days of vacating his residence.

Justin R. Howerton, 21, Carlinville, has been charged with unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in connection with a Sept. 30 incident in which he allegedly failed to complete his 90-day registration with Carlinville Police Department.

Justin C. Helvey, now 29, Benld, has been charged with two counts of burglary in connection with an Oct. 30 incident in which he allegedly entered an individual’s building in the 100 block of North Hibbard, Staunton, and Plaza Laundromat in Carlinville with the intent to commit a theft.

Dominique M. Kierbach, 19, Benld, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a Dec. 12 incident.

Misdemeanors

John T. Tanner, 28, Brighton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Dec. 15 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face with a phone.

Joshua M. Timpe, now 19, Staunton, has been charged with disorderly conduct in connection with a Nov. 16 incident in which he allegedly disturbed an individual’s peace by making threats.

Charles M. Myrick, 31, Springfield, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with a Dec. 19 incident in which he allegedly furnished a false name to a peace officer. He was also charged with driving while license suspended and driving 15-20 mph above the limit (45 mph in a 30 mph zone).

Kevin L. Young, 56, Litchfield, has been charged with two counts of deceptive practices in connection with May 20 and June 7 incidents in which he allegedly delivered checks for $100 and $120, respectively, to Whitlock Chiefs Inc., knowing his bank would not honor the drafts.

Ericka L. Cardoza, 46, Maryland Heights, Mo., has been charged with criminal damage to property in connection with a Nov. 25 incident in which she allegedly caused less than $500 damage to an individual’s 2015 Chevrolet truck by using a key to scratch the truck’s paint.

Joyce A. Webb, 34, Gillespie, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a June 24 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $26.33 to Manu Petro, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Rebecca R. Welsh, 43, Girard, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a Sept. 10 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $61.67 to Manu Petro, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Susan M. Rocha, now 56, Gillespie, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with an Aug. 28 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $50 to Whitlock Chiefs Inc., knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Harold M. Walker, 50, Benld, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a Sept. 4 incident in which he allegedly delivered a check for $125 to Whitlock Chiefs Inc., knowing his bank would not honor the draft.

Samantha R. Walk, now 22, Chatham, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a July 15 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $2,000 to Freedom Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Inc., knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Curt A. Deming, 48, Carlinville, has been charged with two counts of deceptive practices in connection with incidents in which he allegedly delivered checks for $122.17 and $52.05 to Manu Petro, knowing his bank would not honor the drafts.

William R. Conlee, 22, Staunton, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Dec. 20 incident in which he allegedly grabbed an individual by the throat.
