Lawsuits

Macoupin County Housing Authority filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Dec. 13 against Todd McGuire, seeking possession of property in Carlinville; rent, late fees and/or other monies due and owing; reasonable attorney’s fees; and court costs.

Macoupin County Housing Authority filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer Dec. 13 against Corinne Schreier, seeking possession of property in Bunker Hill; rent, late fees and/or other monies due and owing; reasonable attorney’s fees; and court costs.

Felonies

Dallis E. Houseman, now 49, Modesto, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of meth in connection with a Dec. 1 incident.

Dale E. Hughes, 56, Gillespie, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with a Dec. 2 incident.

Brandy L. Augustine, 37, Staunton, has been charged with meth possession (less than five grams) in connection with a Dec. 3 incident.

Lewis A. McKenzie, 57, Shipman, has been charged with unlawful failure to register as a sex offender in connection with an Oct. 31 incident in which he allegedly failed to complete his annual registration with the Macoupin County Sheriff’s Department.

Michael D. Wofford, 45, Gillespie, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with an Oct. 29 incident.

Jennifer D. Turner, 38, Plainview, has been charged with theft of governmental property in connection with a Dec. 12 incident in which she allegedly obtained control over a police badge belonging to the city of Benld, valued at less than $500, knowing it to have been stolen. She was also charged with driving while license suspended.

Matthew W. Stoops, now 26, Staunton, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with an Oct. 18 incident.

Michael J. Puccetti, now 36, Virden, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with an Oct. 13 incident.

Misdemeanors

Carl A. Walden, 61, Carlinville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Dec. 12 incident in which he allegedly put an individual in a headlock.

Matthew W. DuBois, 31, Virden, has been charged with unlawful use of weapons in connection with a Nov. 25 incident in which he allegedly possessed a Springfield XDS .45acp pistol at a time when he was not on his own land or in his own abode, legal dwelling or fixed place of business or on the land or legal dwelling of another person as an invitee; and while said pistol was not broken down into a nonfunctioning state, was not in a location that was not immediately accessible, was not unloaded and enclosed in a case, firearm carrying box, shipping box or other container by a person who has been issued a valid FOID card and was not possessed by a person with a valid concealed carry permit. He was also charged with aggravated assault for allegedly displaying the pistol while making threatening statements toward an individual.

Mona L. Walker, 51, Shipman, has been charged with battery in connection with a Nov. 3 incident in which she allegedly struck an individual in the face with her fist.

Elizabeth K. Malone, 28, Benld, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Dec. 15 incident in which she allegedly struck an individual in the head with a decorative Christmas plate.

DUIs

Dryce A. Cunningham, 18, Carlinville, has been charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed and no valid registration in connection with a Dec. 3 incident in which he allegedly drove a blue 2003 Ford truck on Route 111 at Bacon Street, Hettick.

Roger E. Wright, 38, Medora, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of improper lane usage, following too closely and failure to dim headlights in connection with a Nov. 25 incident in which he allegedly drove a white 2006 Chevrolet truck on Maple Street at Market Street, Brighton.

Dean D. Day, 64, Wilsonville, has been charged with driving under the influence in connection with a Dec. 1 incident in which he allegedly drove a black 2014 Dodge truck in the 100 block of Rice Street, Wilsonville.

Cynthia L. Goode, 39, Urbana, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving 15-20 mph above the limit (90 mph in a 70 mph zone) in connection with a Dec. 9 incident in which she allegedly drove a silver 2004 Toyota on Interstate 55 southbound at mile post 43.5.

Janelle E. Throne, 45, Brighton, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count each of illegal transportation of alcohol and driving on the wrong side of the road in connection with a Dec. 9 incident in which she allegedly drove a red 1998 Subaru on Miles Station Road at Fosterburg Road, northwest of Brighton.

David A. Andrews, 47, Carlinville, has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one county of operating an uninsured motor vehicle in connection with a Dec. 12 incident in which he allegedly drove a blue 2012 Subaru on private property.
