Lawsuits

National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2007-4 filed a complaint Nov. 4 against Amber Lauderdale, seeking $27,983.81 unpaid on an educational loan, plus interest of $6,641.68 and post-judgment interest of nine percent per annum from the date of judgment, and court costs.

James K. Gwinn filed a complaint in forcible entry and detainer against Julie Jenkins, Dave Jenkins and Melinda Smith, seeking possession of property in Carlinville, double rent, damages, attorney’s fees and costs of the suit.

Felonies

Lacey J. Cloud, 30, Jerseyville, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance (a substance containing fentanyl) in connection with a Nov. 1 incident. She was also charged with driving while license revoked, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Cody A. Early, 22, Bethalto, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth.

Joseph T. House, 22, Greenfield, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a July 7 incident.

Brett D. Cotton Jr., 25, Shiloh, has been charged with possession of another’s credit card in connection with an Oct. 21 incident in which he allegedly knowingly possessed an American Express credit card without permission of the cardholder.

Jesse J. Pedigo, 34, Springfield, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a Nov. 15 incident.

Misdemeanors

Timothy L. Damm, 49, Girard, has been charged with retail theft in connection with an Oct. 29 incident in which he allegedly took tobacco valued at less than $300 from Shell Gas Station in Girard.

Michael E. Geisen, 24, Medora, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with an Oct. 29 incident in which he allegedly entered onto a property in the 16500 block of Route 111, Chesterfield, after being told by law enforcement that he was not allowed to enter upon said property. He was also charged with violation of an order of protection in connection with a Nov. 11 incident in which he allegedly made contact with a protected party via Facebook.

Charles H. Daubman, 56, Litchfield, has been charged with theft in connection with an Oct. 1 incident in which he allegedly exerted unauthorized control over less than $500 cash belonging to Litchfield Taxicab Co.

Jeremy A. Vail, 25, Cottage Hills, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with an Oct. 15 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the nose with a closed fist.

Steven T. Acord, 39, Carlinville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Nov. 4 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the face with a closed fist.

Kammy D. Carney, 32, Sawyerville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Nov. 5 incident in which he allegedly held an individual down and caused a cut on the individual’s hand.

Erica W. Bain, 30, Benld, has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with a Nov. 3 incident in which she allegedly drove a 1998 Ford toward an individual as if she was intending to strike the individual, while on Central Avenue, a public way. She was also charged with unlawful violation of an order of protection in connection with a Nov. 8 incident in which she allegedly was within 500 feet of a protected place.

Kyle R. Kessler, 32, Benld, has been charged with escape in connection with an Oct. 1 incident in which he allegedly failed to report to Macoupin County Jail when ordered to do so.

Kindra N. Blankenship, 29, Nilwood, has been charged with escape in connection with an Oct. 23 incident in which she allegedly failed to report to Macoupin County Jail when ordered to do so.

Bradley B. Wilson, 26, Edwardsville, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a Sept. 10 incident in which he allegedly delivered a check for $267.59 to Madison Communications, knowing his bank would not honor the draft.

Michele M. Corrigan, 46, Carlinville, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a July 23 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $36.48 to Joseph F. Boente and Sons, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Stephanie L. Seidelman, 44, Virden, has been charged with deceptive practices in connection with a June 27 incident in which she allegedly delivered a check for $57.98 to Showtime Lanes, knowing her bank would not honor the draft.

Dorothy M. Anderson, 38, Girard, has been charged with theft and assault in connection with a Nov. 7 incident in which she allegedly exerted unauthorized control over an individual’s gold coins worth less than $500 and approached the individual with a clenched fist and threatened violence upon the individual.

Amanda D. Ingrham, 32, Staunton, has been charged with eight counts of deceptive practices in connection with July 21-27 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $78.87, $146.56, $123.38, $23.57, $33.64, $50.10, $141.53 and $40.16 to Meehan’s Market, knowing her banks would not honor the drafts.

Annette L. Lomelino, 39, Virden, has been charged with four counts of deceptive practices in connection with Sept. 11-14 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $80.62, $73.26, $68.77 and $94 to Joseph F. Boente and Sons, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

Cecilia M. Pitchford, now 69, Gillespie, has been charged with three counts of deceptive practices in connection with Sept. 25-28 incidents in which she allegedly delivered checks for $309.62, $273.83 and $273.83 to It Is What It Is, knowing her bank would not honor the drafts.

James M. Thompson, 40, Alton, has been charged with assault in connection with an Oct. 18 incident in which he allegedly threatened to batter an individual over the phone, then went to the residence where the individual was and continued to threaten to batter the individual.

Jasmine T. Sprague, 29, Mt. Olive, has been charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with an Oct. 9 incident in which she allegedly refused to comply with commands to put her arms behind her and attempted to pull away from an officer attempting to handcuff her.

Craig P. Barnes, now 30, Gillespie, has been charged with resisting a peace officer in connection with a Nov. 12 incident in which he allegedly locked his arms and pulled away from an officer attempting to handcuff him.

Ricky L. Flynn, 43, Hillsboro, has been charged with obstructing identification in connection with a Nov. 9 incident in which he allegedly furnished a false name to an officer who had detained him.

Damin L. Jones, 19, Carlinville, has been charged with domestic battery in connection with a Nov. 12 incident in which he allegedly struck an individual in the head with his hand.

Gary H. Rutledge, 69, Carlinville, has been charged with criminal trespass to real property in connection with a Nov. 11 incident in which he allegedly entered onto property of Uptown Tavern in Carlinville after previously being notified by law enforcement that he was not allowed to enter onto said property.

Jaron C. Tunks, 20, Peoria, has been charged with unlawful possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of a substance containing cannabis in connection with a Sept. 30 incident.

Dominique J. Luckett, 26, St. Louis, Mo., has been charged with unlawful possession of more than 10 grams but less than 30 grams of a substance containing cannabis in connection with a Sept. 15 incident.

DUIs

Bryan A. Retherford, 25, Jerseyville has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of disobeying a stop sign in connection with a Nov. 3 incident in which he allegedly drove a black 2009 Chevrolet truck on Route 138 east of Stewart Avenue, Benld.

Aidan A. Heisman, 23, Mt. Olive, has been charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed and following too closely in connection with a Nov. 7 incident in which he allegedly drove a black 2012 Dodge on Old Route 66 at Herman Road, northeast of Staunton.

Chelsea A. File, 30, Mt. Olive, has been charged with driving under the influence, failure to reduce speed, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in connection with an Oct. .21 incident in which she allegedly drove a white 2012 Nissan in the 1100 block of South Hackman Street, Staunton.
