Charles and Daphne Babcock filed a complaint Oct. 31 against Robert and Shari Anderson, seeking a sum in excess of $50,000 in connection with the Andersons leasing to the Babcocks from May 1994 to October 1996 a property that contained lead-based paint, allegedly leading to D. Babcock being diagnosed with lead poisoning in March 1996.
Sandy Stelle, as independent administrator of the estate of Joanne Jones, deceased, filed a complaint Nov. 2 against Heritage Manor – Carlinville, LLC, d.b.a. Heritage Manor – Carlnville, and Heritage Operations Group, LLC, alleging the defendants failed to provide ordinary care to Jones, causing her to sustain serious and permanent injuries. They seek an amount in excess of the court’s jurisdictional requirements.
Marylon Walker filed a complaint Nov. 2 against William and Sherry Sharp, alleging the Sharps physically invaded Walker’s property by constructing a garage or structure across the common property line. Walker seeks a judgment in excess of $50,000, costs of the suit, attorney’s fees, and removal of all structures or for the Sharps to pay Walker’s costs for removing them.
Anthony Ford filed a complaint for eviction Nov. 1 against Jordan Ford, seeking possession of property in Carlinville and $750 for rent and late fees.
George and Doris Bucks filed a complaint for eviction Nov. 2 against Dawn Horrighs and any unknown occupants, seeking possession of property in Virden.

Credit Acceptance Corporation filed a complaint Nov. 8 against Dean Ellis and Alexis Dye, seeking $9,950.02 unpaid on a retail installment contract, plus costs and $350 for attorney’s fees.
David Rull filed a complaint for eviction Nov. 13 against Amanda (Heeren) Ingrham, seeking possession of property in Bunker Hill and $1,200 rent.
Jamison I. Boggs, 45, Modesto has been charged with two aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude and one count of domestic battery in connection with an Oct. 15 incident in which he allegedly willfully failed or refused to obey a peace officer’s direction to bring his vehicle to a stop and was involved in disobeying two or more traffic control devices and drove at a speed at least 21 mph over the legal speed limit, and threw an individual against a door.
Michael L. Gibson, now 48, Benton, has been charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol in connection with a July 29, 2017, incident in which he allegedly drove a 2017 Dodge Ram on Route 16 near Hideaway Lane.
Natosha L. Michaelis, now 32, Carlinville, has been charged with theft in connection with January through September incidents in which she allegedly exerted unauthorized control of more than $500 but less than $10,000 currency belonging to Patterson House, Inc., by using credit and debit cards linked to Patterson House, Inc., funds.
Jessica M. Schrier, 32, Waverly, has been charged with unlawful possession of less than five grams of a substance containing meth in connection with a Nov. 6 incident.
Larry D. Pippen, 51, Centerville, has been charged with driving while license revoked in connection with an incident in which he allegedly drove a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck on Macoupin Street in Gillespie.
