CHS to perform “Guys and Dolls”
Carlinville High School will perform its annual spring musical Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m. at the CHS Gym.
This year’s play is entitled “Guys and Dolls” and is based on a story and characters by Damon Runyon.
Lori Reiher is directing the musical. Michael Morrison is serving as assistant director. Patrice Corso is the vocal director and accompanist. Sarah LoBue is the production’s choreographer while the musical pit orchestra will be conducted by Katie Lyphout.
The music and lyrics were composed by Frank Loesser.
Following the Friday performance, the Carlinville Public Schools Foundation will host an ice cream social in the cafeteria.
Tickets for the play are $7 for reserved seats and $6 for bleacher seats.
