CHS class of 1968 reunites

Carlinville High School’s class of 1968 held its 50-year reunion Sept. 14-15.

Festivities started at the Carlinville vs. Pana football game with reserved seating on Friday evening, followed by a meet and greet at Hollywood and Vine. On Saturday, Classmates toured the high school building and attended dinner and a party at the Magnuson Grand Hotel honoring deceased classmates and those who served the country in the service.

Following the reunion, three individuals representing the class presented Carlinville High School with a donation of $2,365, which was collected during the reunion. The funds will be split between the FORCE group, which supports student needs, and the creation of a mural spotlighting the history of CHS.
